BIOGRAPHY

Hi, my real name is Enrico, I Live near Venice in Italy.

I create & mix music for fun, I love EDM, but Trance Music has been my first, and will be, my last love :-)  When I was attending the college I've created & leaded a web Radio program called "An Emotion Called Trance" with over 60 episodes broadcasted; I have created some songs, some of them are free, others published on ITunes.

I started to create music when I was 14 with a friend who I have meet at high school, DJ Throttle.

The first experiments has been done with EJay, one of the most simple and easy software to
create music, the samples were already prepared and you mounted them in order....

After 2-3 years I've found Fruity Loops (more serious software:-) and after one year of experiment I've created my first nice song, "Astra" it's the second track included in my first album "Elektrovibes".

It's a Electronic/Club Track, when I've created it, my own style wasn't defined, the thing who has changed my mind is here, yes, it's a web radio,"Digitally Imported", the most important web radio of our planet if you love EDM music !

I've opened Winamp for listen something and I've found the Trance channell of DI.fm ... Wow!

"Incredible...what is this ?" - I asked

"This is European Trance...Hi-Nrg...we can't define it ! " - said Winamp bar :-)

"Love at first heard" :-) It's the only thing can I say about this incredible genre !


During this years I have meet other people who have helped me to improve myself teaching me about compressor, mixer, plug-in, Vst and other things.

DJ ACTIVITY

My DJ's activity has started when I was 16-17 with an initiative of my city to create a
local radio, the project has failed but for 2 years I've tried & played with console and
mixer...this has been a good training.

My friends used to call me "Potter" cause they I remember them (a bit) Harry P., specially for the glasses, cause my name has been DJ Potter, usually I wrote "from Italy" cause there is another DJ in England who is called Potter.

But now I've changed it in "DJ Aerol" (it's the name of a fellow in a book of W.Gibson - "Neuromancer").

One day, when I was 18 the boss of my job bought a sort of "bar/pub" (a small place, local where
you go to get drink and to chat with other people), so he has need to have a DJ for this.

I & DJ Throttle (with his own console) have mixed for the "open-day" of this place, and for a lot of
other Saturdays evenings/nights.

When I was  attending the college in Venice I have created & leaded for the web radio of my University. The name of the radio show was "An Emotion Called Trance".
